Wallace Neff may be best known today as an “architect to the stars,” a much sought-after designer for the elite of Hollywood with a stellar array of commissions from legendary classic actors. Co-authors Marc Appleton, Eleanor Schrader and Bret Parsons have gathered the earliest issues of Architectural Digest and put together a volume of Wallace Neff’s work as part of their series Master Architects of Southern California 1920-1940. On February 23rd the authors will introduce their upcoming book and present details of the architect’s life and projects at Pasadena Heritage’s Spring Home Tour Lecture. Pasadena Heritage is acknowledged in the book for our assistance with their research.
